Hi! My name is Mindy Robertson. I am a wife, mother of two beautiful girls and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I love my job as it allows me to teach new or expecting mothers the "art" of breastfeeding in addition to getting them the highest quality breastfeeding-related equipment at the lowest possible price. I created Add A Little Love to give women the help and understanding that I found to be the main element that many lactating mothers were missing. I personally had major problems nursing my first child and seemed to get conflicting advice from everyone I talked to. The Lactation Consultant at the hospital that I was in was a God-send. She gave me the skills and confidence that I needed to make it through this trying time in my life. The entire breastfeeding experience was so interesting and exciting to me that I got my I.B.C.L.C. certification in 2002 and have been in the breastpump business now for 12+ years. I have to admit, it was a difficult road, but I have found that teaching mothers how to nurse their children is my passion. The funniest thing about myself is that I have a degree in Criminal Justice. I went from wanting to be a lawyer, to being the local "pump lady". I can honestly say that I have found my niche and I love what I do. I know the difficulties that breastfeeding can bring and offer the knowledge and understanding to guide new/expecting mothers through this often trying time in their lives. I take much satisfaction knowing that I have made someone else's breastfeeding experience enjoyable and when I look upon the beauty and healthy nature of a breastfed baby, I am in awe as to the wonderful God-given gift that that we women are equipped to give our children.
